Stephen L. Eck, MD, PhD

Stephen L. Eck, MD, PhD is Vice President of Translational Medicine and Pharmacogenomics at Eli Lilly.  His current work spans multiple therapeutic areas and includes responsibilities for the Laboratory for Experimental Medicine (develops novel assays), Diagnostic & Experimental Medicine (develops biomarker and imaging strategies), Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics.  Prior joining Lilly, Dr. Eck served in a similar role at Pfizer, Inc where he was also responsible for a variety of oncology and neuroscience drug development programs. He is hematologist/oncologist who previously served as an attending physician on the Bone Marrow Transplant and the Oncology Services at the University of Pennsylvania.
