Alessandro Fatatis

Alessandro FatatisDr. Fatatis earned his MD from the “Federico II” University of Naples, Italy and a Ph.D. in Oncology from the University of Chieti, Italy. He received post-graduate training at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda and the University of Chicago. He was also on faculty in Chicago for three years, before moving to Philadelphia. Dr. Fatatis is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology and has a secondary appointment in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, at the Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. His research is currently centered on the mechanisms regulating the metastatic potential of cancer cells, particularly from prostate and breast cancers.
